social & events app
[ Vitwin ]
A French social app for events and communities, with profiles for people and for businesses like bars and venues.

Case study
Overview
Vitwin is a French social app that turns places and moments into chances to meet people. Find events nearby, join communities, chat, and follow local businesses.
The problem
Event apps show you what’s on. Chat apps show you who you already know. Vitwin wanted both: who’s around, what’s happening, and an easy way to say hi, without feeling unsafe.
My role & team
Product designer on the mobile app prototype, designed in French.
Process
- Designed a clickable prototype covering authentication, home, events, communities, chat and profiles
- Created two profile types, personal and business, with different tools
Key decisions
Distance, not addresses
The home feed shows people as “2.5 km from you”, never their exact location.
Privacy as plain switches
Show me on the map, let people find me, let people contact me, accept community invites. Each one is a simple toggle.
Verified businesses
Businesses can verify their profile so their events and promotions show as verified. More trust, less spam.
Screen by screen
Welcome and sign up
“Bienvenue sur Vitwin”, a short pitch, then sign up and log in.
Home
Nearby events and people, with distance.
Events and communities
Browse events around you, see participants, create your own event, and join communities.
Chat
1:1 and community chats with admin info.
Profiles
Personal and business profiles, interests, groups of friends, privacy settings, promotions and a product catalog.
