AI calendar assistant
[ SayHiMag ]
An AI assistant that books meetings for you over WhatsApp. I designed the web side: sign up, availability and the Pro plan.

Case study
Overview
SayHiMag is an AI calendar assistant that lives in WhatsApp. You text Mag something like “book me a meeting at 3:30pm with Ken” and it sends the invite, collects replies and reschedules. I designed the web side.
The problem
Scheduling a meeting takes more messages than the meeting itself. Mag fixes that in chat, but people still need somewhere to sign up, connect their calendar, set availability and pay.
My role & team
Product designer on the web app and landing page.
Process
- Designed the landing page with a chat demo as the hero
- Kept onboarding as short as possible, ending with a push back to WhatsApp
- Designed the invite message format too, since it’s the part most people actually see
Key decisions
Get people back to WhatsApp fast
The web app is a pit stop. The final screen just says you’re signed in and Mag is ready, now go back to WhatsApp.
Design the message, not just the screen
The meeting invite is plain text with emoji and clear reply options: confirm, request a reschedule, or get Mag yourself. It works in any chat app.
Screen by screen
Landing page
“Chat to schedule in seconds”, with a live looking WhatsApp conversation.
Onboarding
Create an account, sign in with Google to sync calendar and contacts, upload a profile picture.
Availability
Set your available hours and see when the calendar last synced.
Pricing
Basic and Pro, monthly or yearly with 2 months free. Pro adds your own number and priority support.
